Friday Love – From Jamaica

“Just wanted to let you know that this past weekend I finished Love, InshAllah! I absolutely loved it; I was really moved by so many of the stories. It’s funny, a lot of the issues raised by the authors remind of me of issues that are present in Jamaican society, including skin color (well…complexion, really), social rank, etc. Just goes to show that people have more in common than they think!

Anyway, I found the book to be super-inspiring, particularly with respect to the ongoing search for the elusive ‘perfect man.’”
