One egg contains as much as 184 milligrams (mg) of cholesterol, as the USDA says. A study published in March 2019 in the journal “American Medical Association” states that every additional 300 mg of dietary cholesterol per day will give you a risk of cardiovascular disease by 17 and 18 percent. Meanwhile, another study published in May 2018 in the “American Journal of Nutrition” states that cholesterol is lower in prediabetes and type 2 diabetes. The researchers reported that participants who took part in the boiled egg diet trial for 3 months experienced no change in blood lipid levels, compared with those on a low egg diet. Researchers say that a high-egg diet is consuming 12 eggs a week while a low-egg diet they only eat 2 eggs a week.

In addition, eggs are also rich in saturated fat, each large egg contains 1.5 g of saturated fat. Health regulations recommend the limitation of daily saturated fats, it is recommended that the saturated weak are less than 10% of daily calories for heart health.

So, is the boiled egg diet good for you or not. If we look at all the research and expert opinion, eating boiled eggs continuously without adding other foods is certainly not good for your diet. However, if you add boiled eggs along with other fibrous foods, then this is not scary for you.
