Chaga Mashroom Benefits – One type of mushroom that is very useful for health is Chaga. This mushroom which in scientific language is called “Inonotus obliquus” is a type of mushroom that grows on birch trees in northern Europe, Canada, Asia, and northeast America. Chaga mushroom has long been used in traditional medicine. This mushroom if exposed to the sun will turn black, and the inside will still be orange. It is rich in melanin pigments and high in oxalate. Oxalic acid is a type of substance that triggers kidney stones.

The name varies according to where this fungus grows. Unique name is the name in the Norwegian region, they call the name of this fungus “kreftkjuke”, if translated, the meaning is cancer fungus. Perhaps because of the ability of this fungus to beat cancer.

Chaga mushroom has a hard texture and when dried can be made as a powder, and this powder is usually used to make chaga tea, tinctures. Less popular this powder is packaged in capsules and food supplements.

The Names of Chaga Mashroom

As a world-famous mushroom for its benefits, Chaga is famous for various names in various places. Some of them call it Birch canker, Black mass, Cinder conk, Conk rot and some also call it by the name of clinker.

Chaga Mashroom Health Benefits

Health experts believe that Chaga has many health benefits, among the benefits of this fungus are as anti-inflammatory, reduce blood sugar, prevent cancer, slow the progression of cancer, relieve menstrual pain, lower blood pressure, and others.

These benefits are obtained because Chaga Mashroom is rich in various nutrients. Chaga is claimed to contain nutrients such as magnesium, vitamin D, iron, manganese, potassium, and calcium. Chaga is also rich in melanin, this is a substance found in human skin that benefits prevent wrinkles, wrinkles, aging, skin damage from the sun, and skin cancer. This is an amazing benefit from Chaga Mashroom.

Chaga Mashroom is a type of mushroom that is rich in nutrients, essential fiber and rich in melanin. Melanin found in the Chaga Mashroom do believe can increase the melanin in the skin layer. 2. Chaga Mashroom Benefits for Diabetes

Chaga is believed to be able to provide control over diabetes, research shows that the administration of substances from this chaga derivative has provided extraordinary benefits in diabetic rats induced by chemicals. Experts say that Chaga is beneficial for reducing inflammation of pancreatic cells so that it is possible to produce insulin more optimally.

Possible Side Effects

What about the long-term side effects of consuming Chaga. Little is known about this, they generally assume it is safe and can be consumed well. In fact, now it is known that some side effects might occur.

We have said that Chaga Mashroom is high in oxalate content, oxalic acid is dangerous for the kidneys and can trigger kidney stones. It also interferes with nutrition because it can prevent absorption of these nutrients. You even need to know that those who use chaga powder have kidney failure. This further proves that consuming chaga for the long term is not safe.

If so, then Chaga should not be used on those with kidney disease, those who have a history of kidney disease, or those who have a risk of kidney disease.

One of the characteristics of chaga is that it can affect blood sugar, so the use of chaga must be especially careful in people who take diabetes medications. The effect can cause a decrease in blood sugar in abnormal limits.

One more concern that occurs in Chaga Mashroom users. It is estimated that Chaga can prevent blood clots, therefore blood-thinning drug users must be careful using it. The safe way is to talk to your doctor first before you take action on your own.
