Grilled Cornish Hens – Easy Recipe to Try

This is a great grilled chicken for me and when I found out this was a recipe for roast chicken I loved giving it a try and was immediately able to make a delicious meal of the day for the family. Now I’m one of the specialties of chicken, especially with regard to Grilled Cornish Hens. The main dish here we make by combining several different recipes. The meat is moist with a delicious grilling taste, it has the aroma of cloves and ginger so that it is not just an ordinary food, but it has health value too.

How to Make Grilled Cornish Hens

If you want to try the Grilled Cornish Hens recipe, you can provide chicken because we use chicken as the main ingredient. If you have free-range chicken, it will be healthier and the meat tastes sweeter, because they consume organic food or natural food, not food processed by animal breeders.

Ok, let’s just look at the ingredients we use in making Grilled Cornish Hens. Hopefully you can practice it at home.

Ingredients:

  1. Butter softened as much as 1/4 cup
  2. 2 green onions finely chopped
  3. Fresh parsley chopped two tablespoons
  4. 2 tablespoons of fresh grated ginger, this is to make the access of ginger in Grilled Cornish Hens
  5. 3 cloves of minced garlic
  6. Salt as much as 1 teaspoon
  7. 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  8. 4 Cornish chickens (20 to 24 ounces each). We’re going to make a big meal today.

How to Make:

Step1:

Mix these ingredients in a small bowl. These are: butter, parsley, ginger, onion, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Step 2:

Then the ingredients that have been mixed earlier, are applied to the inside or outside of the chicken skin. The remaining salt is sprinkled in the chicken cavity.

Step 3:

Using long-handled tongs, moisten a paper towel with cooking oil, and lightly coat the grill rack. Prepare the grill for indirect heat, using a drip pan.

Step 4:

Place the chicken breasts in a drip pan, bake, covered, over medium heat for about 45 to 60 minutes or until the thermometer shows a needle at 180 degrees and the juices coming out of the meat are clear. This indicates that the Grilled Cornish Hens are ready to be removed and enjoyed.

Grilled Cornish Hens nutrition facts

Each chicken is estimated to contain the following nutrients: 803 calories, 60g fat (21g saturated fat), 60g protein, 855mg sodium, 381mg cholesterol, and 2g carbohydrate. This is very good because it contains absolutely no sugar or (0 sugars), but it is a pity because this food also has no fiber or (0 fiber).
