The Role of Ghee in Ayurveda

Ayurveda is a holistic science, where all cycles of desi ghee source are important and quite basic. To get pure ghee there are certain ways that must be done. For example, one of the important things for pure ghee is that cows as a source of ghee should not be tied to gaushalas. Cows should be allowed to chew during the day without any conditions.   4. Helps reduce anxiety, stress, diabetes, cancer risk, and is good for building immunity
  5. Anti-inflammatory
  6. Increases appetite, and can increase flexibility
  7. During pregnancy, consuming cow’s ghee also has many benefits. However, you should still consult a doctor before starting.
  8. A2 beef ghee is good for mineral absorption and stomach acid
  9. In case of facial paralysis, cow ghee is inserted in the nostrils, with nasya therapy in panchakarma. The benefit is to increase “ojas” and “sattvic guna” in the body.
