Is Mango Good for Weight Loss – Mango is a delicious fruit that is wonderful to enjoy during the day, especially in the summer. Many people like this fruit be it thin people or fat people. The question is whether mangoes can lose weight? Or mango actually increases weight so it is not good for fat people, or vice versa.

In this short article we will find out how mangoes play a role in our health, especially for weight loss. We know in the previous article about the health benefits of mangoes, that mangoes are not only delicious, sweet but this amazing fruit is full of essential nutrients for health.

Mango fruit is rich in folate, vitamin C, vitamins A, B6, and others. If we associate it with weight loss, mango may not be a miracle fruit that you can count on to lose weight. However, eating mangoes which are rich in fiber can at least support you in losing weight. You can consume several mangoes a day, the fiber content will make you full and of course you don’t want to increase your heavy meal portion. Mango and Weight loss

If you have been consuming a lot of foods rich in fat and calories and now want to replace them with mangoes. This is certainly a change in your lifestyle and diet. This diet is very good and supports your weight loss. At least you have passed calorie-rich foods with healthy foods.

A study published in the title “Nutrition Research” in 2008 found that obese who eat lots of fruits will lose weight faster than obese who do not like to eat fruit. After 6 months of living this lifestyle and diet, those who like to eat fruit will experience a weight loss of 0.3 kg compared to those who don’t eat fruits.

Mango is a fruit with a low energy density

Mango is a great food for weight loss. This is because mangoes are classified as foods with low energy density. Research suggests that foods that are low in energy density or calories per gram are excellent for supporting weight loss programs. Mango will give you a feeling of fullness and it is low in calories, so it is very good at reducing body fat which in turn lose weight.

Fiber content in mango

Mango is a fruit that is rich in fiber, so it is great for losing weight. It’s no secret, everyone already knows that fiber-rich foods will make you full longer and then have an effect on weight loss because they will reduce your portions of food.

In addition, fiber-rich foods will prevent the absorption of micronutrients such as fats and carbohydrates. These are the results of research in 2005 published in a journal entitled “Nutrition”. Consuming one cup of mango can get 2.6 fiber, this already meets 10% of the daily requirement of fiber.

Apart from being rich in fiber which is useful for preventing colon cancer, mangoes also contain beta-carotene which is useful in preventing cancer as well. In conclusion, if you want to reduce your calorie intake then mangoes are the best choice for you.

Calories in mango

Mangoes also contain calories, although a little, but if you consume mangoes in excess then this will not help you lose weight. You are not only mangoes, to support weight loss, you also have to balance it with exercise. Exercise aims to burn the fat and calories you get when you eat a number of foods. Apart from mangoes you also need to consume vegetables which are known to be low density vegetables.
