What is the Benefits of PULASAN fruit? Pulasan is derived from the Malay language from the word “pulas” meaning “pilas”. It is a tropical plant but can live in humid areas of 360 and 1150 feet of altitude. The way to open this fruit is to rotate it with two hands. This action is called Pulasan. That is why this fruit is named with “pulasan”. The Pulasan tree has a height of 10 to 15 meters. The trunk is short and has a thickness of up to 40 cm. Young branches have brown fur.

The leaves grow alternately and are odd pinnate. The size of the leaves can reach 17 to 45 cm. The flowers are small and do not have petals like other flowers. It usually has 4 to 5 hairy sepals and it grows independently or on erect branches, or in the armpits and terminals.

PULASAN fruit is oval with thick hair on the outside. Rough fruit skin with thick hair surrounding it, the hair can reach 1 cm. The fruit only has one seed in it. shape and size resembling almonds. The seeds inside are light brown and oval, flat, the size of the seeds is about 2 to 3.5 cm, the seeds are very easy to separate with the dregs when eaten.

Health Benefits of Pulasan

1. Lose weight

For those of you who want to lose weight, consuming pulasan can be an alternative to lose weight. This is because PULASAN contains a lot of fiber which is very good for maintaining fullness. This can suppress your hunger so you don’t want to eat quickly.

2. Useful for controlling blood sugar

For diabetics, consuming PULASAN is very good because it can help neutralize and stabilize blood sugar. The trick is to regulate the amount of sugar released in the bloodstream.

3. Increase Bowel Movement

Other pulasan benefits is raise the bowel movement. The waste referred to here is feces. Rich in fiber, the waste will be able to move properly so that it prevents constipation and problems with your intestines.

4. Prevent premature aging

Premature aging is a symptom of damage to a person’s cells. If a person is continuously exposed to free radicals, their skin cells will be damaged and cause premature aging. Consuming PULASAN regularly can repair free radical damage and can even fight free radicals that enter the body so that cell damage can be prevented quickly. So, the positive effect is someone looks younger even though he is old.

PULASAN containing Hydroquinone, ascorbic acid and pyrogallol. This compound functions as an antioxidant that is useful against free radicals from the body.
