Open ‘awrah when praying, whether it can damage prayer or not. We may not know when we are praying that our genitals (awrah) suddenly open. Now the question is how the law of prayer is it valid or not.
Regarding this, there are details of the answer, if the awrah is opened, it is caused by something other than ourselves, then the answer is divided into two.
– If it is possible to close it immediately, the prayer is valid
– If we open ‘awrah, we cannot close it immediately, such as tearing the pants or sarong in the’ awrah section, then prayer is invalid.
For example: open ‘awrah which allows us to immediately close it is like being opened by the wind, animals or humans (as said by shaykh qalyubi in hasyiah qalyubi on the minhaj book), if we can close it immediately, then this does not cause the prayer to be canceled. Likewise, if there is dry najis (dirt which is not forgiven in prayer) which falls on the person praying, and he can get rid of it immediately, then this does not cause the prayer to be canceled.
But if it is wet, then the prayer is canceled because it is not possible to get rid of it immediately.
Furthermore, Sheikh Qalyubi commented. If the opening of the genitals is a result of ourselves opening it, then our prayers are canceled. This is irrespective of the reason, whether because of forgetting or for other reasons.
To make it easier, the formula is: If the awrah may close immediately then the prayer is not canceled as long as the one who opened it is not himself.

If we do it, it is canceled, even if other people force us to open awrah and we do it, then prayer is canceled. Just as we are forced to turn our back to the Qibla and we do that, our prayers are invalid. The reason is because “force” is something that rarely happens.
So, the answer to the question – whether opening awrah by the wind in prayer can invalidate prayer – is not to cancel the prayer if it can be closed immediately (quickly).
In the book tanbih fil fiqh Imam Syafie it is said:
وان كشفت عورته بطلت صلاته وان كشفها الريح لم تبطل
If the Awrah is open, the prayer will be invalid, and if it is opened by the wind, then the prayer is not canceled.
In the book Kifayatul Akhyar it is said as follows:
وَإِن كشفها الرّيح فاستتر فِي الْحَال فَلَا تبطل وَكَذَا لَو انحل الْإِزَار أَو تكة اللبَاس فَأَعَادَهُ عَن قرب فَلَا تبطل كَمَا ذكرنَا فِي النَّجَاسَة
Meaning: “So if the wind opens the veins it covers it immediately, then the prayer is not canceled. Likewise, if the sarong is removed or the clothes are untied, then it immediately returns to its initial position, then the prayer is not canceled as we mentioned in chapter najasah. “
