The eye of the earth in Croatia are also known as glavas springs. This spring is the cleanest and most abundant source of water. As reported by the Croatian National, this glavas spring is a water source located on the highest mountain in Croatia, namely Mount Dinara.

The eye of the earth is a place where water comes out which is shaped like a small lake but has very clear water. It is shaped like an eye because of the blue and papyrus color of the water. This is a source of water that comes out continuously and unceasingly and flows out through a river called the Cetina river.

The clarity of this glazed water causes a blue reflection from the sky so that it looks like a beautiful giant eye. The deeper you go, the darker the blue, and this sometimes makes your hair stand on end, scary but also very beautiful. This beauty and wonder was later called The Eye of the Earth.

Reported from the BBC, the Cetina river which originates from the Glavas springs is a river with very clear water and flows calmly between stunning canyons. Quoted from kompas.com that the Cetina River is the cleanest source of water in Croatia and is one of the cleanest springs in Europe which is used as water for people’s daily needs.

The beautiful Cetina River with its water sourced from The Eye of The Earth flows through a canyon with hills up to 200 meters high and flows for 101 km through canyons along the mountain. This swift water flow is also a place for rafting which is a favorite of people there.
