Tofurky Nutrition Facts

The following nutritional information for tofurkey is provided by the USDA for every 147 grams of roasted Tofurkey. So, you can compare when you want to enjoy grilled Tofurky food.

Calorie content: 300 calories, fat: 10, Sodium: 670 mg, Fiber as much: 2.1 grams, carbohydrates as much as 19 grams, sugar as much as 2 grams, and contains 33 grams of protein.

1. Carbohydrates in Tofurky

Based on data from the USDA, 147 grams of vegetable roast and the filling (which is rolled in the meat) provides 300 calories of calories, besides that it also contains 19 grams of carbohydrates. The rest is sugar and fiber, each of which is 2 grams. While the rest is starch.

Adverse Effects of Eating Tofurky

Tofurky sometimes also has bad effects that you should keep away from. If you are among those who are sensitive to non-celiac gluten or have celiac disease, including those of you who are following a gluten free diet, then this plant-based food or Tofurky is not the best choice for you because it contains gluten.

Depression medications (MAOIs) can also interact with fermented soy products, and tofurky is a food made from soy (an ingredient in tofu). If you are taking depression medications (MAOIs) you should limit or avoid these foods. If you want to consume it, then consult your doctor.
