You can definitely see many stars in different colors in the night sky. But we never saw any green or purple stars. This is due to the way humans see visible light.
Stars are a collection of suns scattered in the sky with various colors. Some are red on the verge of explosion, and there are also large blue stars that glow in the constellation Orion belt and in other places. There are also stars that are yellow like sunlight that are likely to be very warm and stable to support life on Earth.

Why are the stars different colors? This is due to the difference in surface temperature of the ball. The hotter a star is, the shorter its light waves are. The hottest stars are those in blue-white or blue colors, where their wavelengths are very short. While cooler stars with lower temperatures are red or brownish red. This star has a very long wavelength.
However, stars do not radiate light in just one wave length. The wavelengths of light from peaks in one color are bell-shaped, although stars can also emit light in other colors.

The human eye has changed to see a yellow color, and a green radiation color.
Green stars emit green light right in the middle of the visible light spectrum. This means that it emits partial light of all colors. But the star looks white, it is all colors combined and humans see it white. Earth’s sun also emits white light, but we humans see it as white light.
How about a purple star? There are actually purple stars, but it’s not easy for the human eye to find purple stars. Why, because the human eye is more sensitive to blue. The two colors, green and purple, are adjacent to the visible light spectrum. Meanwhile, the human eye is very quick to pick up on the blue color. So, purple and green colors are not found easily.
