What is Narrative Text

Generic Structure of Narrative Text

Generic structure of the text are some of the usual stages and steps in making a story or story. It can also be understood as a way to produce this text, here we will look at the stages in making narrative text.

1. Orientation

This is the part that introduces the story with an introduction to the characters, the time and place the events in the story will be narrated and other related matters.

2. Complication

This is the part when the problem about the main character in the story begins to appear and be told.

3. Resolution

The resolution in the step of making narrative text is the part where the story of the main character tries to solve the problem, or it can also be said to be the final part of the story or story.
