Hadith about Virtues of Ramadan – The month of Ramadan is a month full of virtue, majesty and blessings. Worship that is done in the month of Ramadan is multiplied in rewards ranging from 10 times to 700 times. This is truly the gift of a gracious and merciful God.

Here are 10 statements of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) on the virtues of Ramadan:

1. Prophet Muhammad SAW Said:

“He who fast Ramadan, having faith and hoping for reward (from Allah) then his past sins are forgiven.”

2. Prophet MUhammad SAW said:

“If anyone forgets that he is fasting and eats or drinks, he should complete his siyam, for it is Allah who has fed him and given him drink.”

3. Prophet MUhammad SAW said:

“Take the Suhoor meal, for there is blessing in it.”

4. Prophet Muhammad SAW said:

“On the day of judgement, fasting will say: “o my lord i prevented him
from food and desires so accept my intercession for him.”

Imam Ahmad

5. Prophet Muhammad SAW said:

“whoever give food to a fasting person with which to break
his fast, he will have the reward equal to his (the fasting person),
without it detracting in the slightest from the reward of
the fasting person.”

Tirmidhi

6. Prophet Muhammad SAW said:

“The five daily prayers between two fridays and between to ramadhan will wipe out all the sins committed between them if the major sins are avoided.”

Bukhari

7. Prophet MUhammad SAW said:

“(Allah said), ‘Every good deed od Adam’s Son is for him except fasting; it is for me. and I shall reward (the fasting person) for it. ‘verily, the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better to Allah than the smell of musk.”
