Names of Angels of God (Allah), Muslims must Memorize

Names of Angels of God

Names of Angels of God – Angels are creatures of Allah who obey Him and never commit the slightest immorality because they are not created by lust like humans. The number of angels is very large and infinite, but there are ten angels that we know and know their duties. There are 10 angels that must be known and memorized, just like the 25 Prophets 25, which must be known too.

Because knowing the names of angels of God is an obligation for Muslims, we make a review in this article. Hopefully it is useful and becomes material for us to memorize and introduce to early childhood so that they memorize it.

Names of Angels of God and Duties

For Muslims, mukallaf are obliged to recognize 10 angels and sin if they do not know and are obliged to believe in them. Faith in angels is one of the six pillars of faith in Islam.

Angels are innocent creatures and always obey Allah because they are created from light without any lust accompanying them. As we know, lust is the cause of man falling into sin.

However, that does not mean that Allah does not glorify humans, but Allah greatly honors humans because Allah does not only place lust but also provides “reason/intellect” as a balance.

So, when humans can control their desires, they will become the most noble creatures, even more noble than angels, because humans have “intellect”.

Meanwhile, if man cannot control his lust, then he is more vicious than animals because animals have no sense, while humans have “intellect” but do not use it.

Therefore, we can understand that Allah prefers human worship to angels because humans are filled with lust but are still able to worship. Angels are naturally able to worship because they do not have lust and were not created with lust.

In surah alfathir verse 1, it is explained about the nature of angels who have four wings.

“Praise be to Allah the Creator of the heavens and the earth, Who made angels as messengers (to take care of various affairs) who have wings, two, three and four respectively”.

Allah adds to His creation what He wills. Verily Allah has power over all things. ”

Not only that, the verse of Allah shows about angels but there are many more, as well as the hadith of the Prophet SAW. which states about the nature of angels, and one of the hadiths that mentions the nature of angels is:

“Archangel Jibril, has 600 wings, Israfil has 1200 wings, where one wing equals 600 wings of Jibril and the last one is said that Hamalat al-‘Arsy (angel of arash) has 2400 wings where one wing equals 1200 wings of Israfil.”

Indeed, angels cannot be seen, but Muslims are obliged to believe in the existence of angels and their respective duties because they are manifest, meaning that if Allah opens the veil, we can really see the angel.

Before we look at the names of angels and their respective duties, let’s first look at the conditions that angels must have.
