How to Make Pressure-Cooker Beef

Step1:

Well, since we’re using a pressure-cooker, we can choose the “saute” setting, at 6-qt. electric pressure cooker and adjustable heat (just use medium heat). Add two teaspoons of oil, then add the beef and salt and pepper. Cook until browned and add oil if needed and transfer meat to a bowl.

Step 2:

Now add the wine to the pressure-cooker, stir, press “cancel”. Now put the beef back into the cooker. Now just add the mushrooms, onions, stock, and don’t forget to add Worcestershire sauce too.

Close the lock, close the pressure relief valve. Adjust the pressure cooker on high heat for about 15 minutes and immediately release the pressure.

Step 3:

Choose a setting for stir fry and use it for low heat. Now and bring the liquid to a boil. Meanwhile separately, in a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth. Cook and stir until the sauce thickens. Then serve with mashed potatoes.
