Beef broth is a stew of beef or beef bones, usually used in dishes such as soups, sauces and stews. But the problem is when you run out of beef stock. Is there any other sauce that can be added to the dish as a substitute for beef stock. How, do you have to give up?

Substitute for Beef Broth
1. Bouillon Cubes
It is a broth that has been cemented or hardened and is shaped like a square or a cube. You can store Bouillon Cubes for months if stored properly.
This is a type of beef broth that has been dried, ground, and compressed so that it can be shaped according to taste. Usually sold in packages with a shape like a cube. The use of these broth cubes is the same size as a cup of beef stock. So, take a cube of broth and dissolve it in a cup of boiling water.
2. Vegetable Broth
When meat broth is not available, vegetable broth is another frequently used alternative. To make vegetable broth, you can add various types of vegetables that have an aroma such as mushrooms, onions, garlic, carrots, and so on.
In order for the vegetable broth to be richer in flavor, you can add spices such as bay leaf, Italian spices, thyme, rosemary, and pepper.
3. Beef Stock
If you have no problem with beef, you can always try replacing beef broth with beef stock. So, it’s very easy to use, just like beef broth, the taste and quantity needed is the same.
So, there is a difference between beef broth and stock. Beef broth is liquid or broth from stewing and reducing beef and bones. While beef stock is the taking of fluids from boiling beef bones and vegetables. So, stock has less meat than broth. If you lack or don’t have broth savings, you can replace it with beef stock.
4. Mushroom stock
Furthermore, the best substitute for beef broth is mushroom broth. To get mushroom broth, we can make it yourself from home. The ingredients for making mushroom broth are carrots, yellow onions, various mushrooms, thyme, parsley sprigs, corn pepper, bay leaves, salt and of course water. Then cook until it boils and leave it until the water decreases slightly. When cooked, all of the broth will smell like mushrooms, it does take a while. Sometimes it may take you 30 minutes or more.

To add more taste, try adding a little red wine, and a little soy sauce. You are ready to use this mushroom broth as a substitute for beef stock.
5. Soy Sauce
Soy sauce is another substitute for your beef broth. However it is very unique in presenting food with broth. Without beef broth you can still present delicious food with a substitute for beef broth. Soy sauce is a bit unconventional but unique when added to food dishes.

But if you really want to avoid broth, you can replace it with soy sauce. Add soy sauce in a cup of water and mix well. Put it in food, the ratio is 1: 1 (one cup of broth to one cup of soy sauce).
6. Wine or Beer
Apart from using mushroom broth, you can also add other ingredients as a substitute. Try adding beer or wine when boiling meat, and adding chilies, sauces and stews.
