When Praying, Urine Feels Out

islam.nu.or.id

One of the cases that often occurs when praying is a feeling like urine is left out. This is not just a feeling but it is true, this is a habit as a result of not urinating smoothly. Usually after wiping, a few moments later the urine comes out again like a drop, for example. Well, the problem is how to fix it so you can pray comfortably and it doesn’t come out when we pray.

If when we pray we feel like pee is coming out and can be overcome beforehand, then of course it must be overcome first before praying then pray comfortably and safely from urinating. However, if it cannot be prevented at all, then this is forgiven a little pee that comes out during prayer, this is the opinion of ibn ‘Imad as put forward by Ibn Hajar al Haitami in his book al-Fatawi al-Kubra. Here’s the editorial:

Meaning: Said Ibn ‘Imad and was forgiven instead of a little urine that could not be held out on clothes and bandages, by attributing it to prayer alone As for other prayers, it is obligatory for him to wash or dry and wash the bandages or renew the bandages as possible.

So, if during prayer you cannot hold your pee (a few drops of pee) or salasil baul comes out, then you are forgiven for the prayer, but for the next prayer you must purify your genitals and clothes again.

However, if praying while sitting does not cause salasilil baul and if standing causes salasilil baul, then he must pray in a sitting state. This was stated by Baghawi in the book of Tahzib as stated by Imam Nawawi in Raudhah, as follows:

Meaning: If the salsil baul praying stands up, his urine flows, and if he prays while sitting then he is safe from that. Does he have to pray while sitting or standing. There are two opinions, a very strong opinion is praying while sitting so that he prays in a holy state and this does not need i’adah prayer (re-prayer) based on these two opinions.

Prevent Exiting Urine During Prayer

Drops or asar of urine that come out during prayer are actually inseparable from istibra ‘or efforts to get rid of urine in the urinary tract. In figh, this has been explained in detail. A person who has just peed is obliged to clear his throat or massage the ducts of his penis so that all the urine is excreted so that it does not come out during prayer and does not hit his clothes.

The way of resting or releasing yourself from the defect of peeing, or releasing the penis from the urine that is left in its channel is can be done in various ways.

Regarding istibra ‘, there are arguments according to the hadiths narrated by Bukhari Muslim as follows:

Meaning: “The argument of istibra is a hadith narrated by Sayyidina Ibn Abbas that the Prophet Muhammad SAW when he passed two tombs said, ‘The two grave experts were tortured. Both were tortured not because of any major things. One is not istibra’ after urinating. Another one walked to play one another (musyatamah), ‘”(Bukhari and Muslim).

So istibra ‘very important, because it relates to the validity of prayer. In the book of figh istibra ‘it is included in the Thaharah chapter because with istibra’ a person can be free from uncleanness in his body and is ready to purify or perform ablution for prayer.

Shaykh Wahbah Zuhaili mentions in his book, istibra ‘is as follows:

Meaning: Istibra ‘is trying to get rid of what comes out (urinating) so that it is sure of the loss of stock or demands release from the place where the pee comes out of the pee.

See the book of Sheikh Wahbah Az-Zuhayli, Al-Fiqhul Islami wa Adillatuh.

In the Thaharah chapter, this istibra ‘is done by clearing the throat, massaging the urethra three times. For this istibra ‘, Sheikh Wahbah Zuhaili said that this can be done with anything because the goal is to clean the urinary tract from urinating.

Beliu adds several other ways you can do to get rid of the build-up in the urinary tract. Pressing the upper part of the genitals, moving, walking a few steps, lying down and doing small exercises.

Conclusion

For people who are accustomed to urinating (urine droplets) after wiping or stepping on them, they have to wipe and then take a walk or do their usual activities for about 10-15 minutes or half an hour. only then did he return to the toilet again and do wiping again (cleansing his genitals) and performing ablution ‘as usual. Replace sarongs or clothing worn which may be unclean.

So, every time he wants to enter prayer time, he must first defecate, pee, and then wipe and do the usual activities as mentioned above, then wash again to make sure no more pee comes out. Change clothes and be ready for ablution ‘and prayers.
