Dua for Shifa – Dua for Healing the Sick

Dua for Shifa – Dua for Healing the Sick

Dua for shifa is an important prayer for Muslims. for Muslims, prayer is a weapon, as the hadith of the Prophet SAW which means “prayer is the weapon of the believer”. So, in case of illness there is also a prayer. It doesn’t matter whether we are mentally or physically ill, for those of us who hear that our brother in faith is sick, it is recommended that we pray for him to recover.

The Dua for Shifa

Among the Dua for Shifa are as stated in the hadith of Bukhari RA. Rasulullah SAW recited this prayer when he was sick, and also recited it to others who were sick.

Meaning: O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove this disease, heal it, only You are the Most Healer. There is no healing but healing from You, healing that leaves no pain.”

Likewise for ourselves, if we are sick, we can also read various dua for healing and even dhikr and Sholawat. We can read everything and we intend for healing. For example, ratib haddad, or ratib ath-Thas, this is a form of dua for healing from everything, not only as a dua for shifa, but can also be practiced for self-defense or a fortress from magic.

That’s the Muslim community, we are very lucky to have the Prophet Muhammad SAW, where the Sholawat we read will not be in vain, we can intend it for various good needs. Actually, the sholawat that we read is not only beneficial for the Messenger of Allah, but also for those of us who read it, the benefits for us are even greater. So, don’t be lazy to recite sholawah to the Prophet SAW.

Ok, through this dua for shifa we hope that Allah will heal us. Prayer is one form of servant’s efforts to achieve healing from various diseases. So, in addition to reading dhikr, ratib, and sholawat, there is a special prayer for shifa that can be read in every situation that is less fortunate. This is as we mentioned above, namely:

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شَافِيَ إلَّا أَنْتَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقْمًا

Meaning: O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove this disease, heal it, only You are the Most Healer. There is no healing but healing from You, healing that leaves no pain.”

Dua for Shifa or Health

Islam is a religion of peace, the Koran is not only a guide to life, but the blessings of the Koran can be a cure for various diseases. There are many verses of the Quran that can be a medicine and a healer for us.

Dua for Good Health

Rukyah is a healing method that uses Quranic verses and Dhikr and certain ratib. For example, reading a combination of several surahs in the Koran such as reading Surah Fatihah 7 times, mu’awwizatain (al Falaq and An-Nas), Ayatul Kursi. You need to know that every time a Muslim recites this surah and then blows his hand and puts it where it hurts, he will feel relief. This is not at all doubtful, with full faith in Allah who gives healing, insha Allah you will feel relieved. Please practice!

Kuran A Healing

Overall, the verses of the Koran can serve as healers or shifa. However, there are certain surahs that have meanings related to disease and healing so that their role is stronger for healing. For example, Surah Mu’awwizatain and al Fatihah.

Al Fatihah is a surah in the first number of the Quran. The meaning is very deep, because all the contents of the Koran are collected in Surah Fatihah, and all the content of Fatihah are collected in Bismillah or the first verse of Fatihah. So it’s only natural that reading Fatihah can be useful for various needs, both to expel demons, physical healing and so on.

Expiration For Your Sins

The pain suffered by Muslims is a form of test from Allah. Allah commands us to be patient from every disease, Allah who gives pain and Allah who heals.

Sometimes Allah makes a servant sick, because with his illness his sins will be forgiven (removed). Allah is merciful, greatest, will not give anything without wisdom. Every sin we commit needs to be blotted out so that we don’t go to hell. One form of remission of sins is to be given pain.

That’s why, people in the past, they didn’t complain about the pain, they knew this was a form of Allah in forgiving their sins. So, every time they get sick, they enjoy it because it is a form of remission of sins. But what is meant here is a small sin, while a big sin, it must go through a truly repentant repentance (taubatun-nasuha).

However, that doesn’t mean we can’t pray for healing. We are also ordered to try to recover, and one form of effort is Dua and take medicine. Sometimes we can’t be patient, can’t bear to feel pain, suffer and so on, so ask Allah for healing. Take medicine and take your time to ask Allah SWT for healing.
