Spaghetti is a pasta food that is very much in love with even this food is present throughout the world as the most popular food. Spaghetti is made from wheat so it is rich in complex carbohydrates and all the nutrients present in refined white flour. So by consuming wheat or processed foods from wheat, we already get a lot of nutrients such as white flour.

Commonly made spghetti is neutral and still considered good for your daily diet. But spaghetti from whole wheat, it is very rich in fiber which is good for digestion. Likewise with whole wheat bread, it is very rich in fiber and is able to clean waste properly and cleanse the digestive system.

One serving of spaghetti equals one cup of cooked spaghetti or about 2 ounces dry.

Carbs in Spaghetti

Spaghetti is a pasta food made from whole grains, it’s high in calories, about 200 in one cup supply. Spaghetti is a high-energy food with a high content of complex carbohydrates. One serving contains about 40 grams of complex carbohydrates. So, this is not a meal for a low carb diet but it is very good as a diet food for a healthy heart because spaghetti is a low fat food.

A measure of 2.5 grams of fiber can be obtained from one serving of spaghetti. It contains a glycemic index of around 452 and its glycemic load is 22, thus spaghetti is a food with a low glycemic index, meaning that it does not have much effect in increasing blood sugar. But for those of you who experience blood sugar, you must be vigilant if you eat too much of these foods.
