One thing that makes this Dong Tao chicken rare is that it doesn’t lay as many eggs as other chickens. It only lays a few eggs and for a long time. In addition, hatching is also very difficult so that chicken farmers must assist in this hatchery. After hatching, it takes a lot of about 8 months or a year to be sold with a weight of 3 to 5 kg.
